How to use it
Fold. Pinch and fold — C, 7, or punch-down. It's smaller than you think.
Insert. Angle back, not up. Insert low and let it pop open. You'll feel the seal.
Wear. Up to 12 hours. Gym, sleep, swimming, no adjusting, no checking.
Remove. Squeeze the base to break the seal. Pull gently by the stem. Empty, rinse, reinsert. Thirty seconds. Done.
How to clean it
Before your period: boil your MUNA cup in water for 5 minutes. That's it — sterilised and ready.
During your period: empty, rinse under tap water, reinsert. No soap needed. No fuss.
After your period: boil again for 10 minutes, dry fully, and store in the cotton pouch included. Ready for next month.
Medical-grade silicone doesn't harbour bacteria. Cup users are 70% less likely to face infections than tampon users.
Is it right for me?
Size S: sight to medium flow. Holds 20ml (roughly 2–3 tampons worth).
Size L: medium to heavy flow. Holds 25ml (roughly 3–4 tampons worth).
Not sure? Start with S. Most people find it fits well regardless of age or whether they've given birth.
If you have an IUD, the cup is generally safe to use — but check with your gynaecologist first, especially in the first few months after insertion.

How it works
Three steps. Then you stop thinking about it.
Step 01
Fold & Insert
Pinch, fold — C, 7, or punch-down. Insert low, angled back. It pops open and creates a seal. You'll feel when it's right.
Step 02
Wear & Forget
Up to 12 hours. Gym, office, sleep — handled. No leaks, no backup plan. Change it when you want to, not because you have to.
Step 03
Remove & Rinse
Break the seal, pull gently by the stem. Empty, rinse under the tap, reinsert. Thirty seconds. Repeat for ten years.
One cup. No thinking. Your period, handled.
Answered. The things people actually ask.
Real questions. No fluff.
Not if inserted correctly and the seal is formed. Most leaks happen in the first 1–2 cycles while you're learning. Once you know how it sits, leaking stops being a concern.
It shouldn't. The MUNA cup is soft medical-grade silicone — it folds small and opens gently. If it's uncomfortable, it's usually about angle or position, not the cup itself. Most people are surprised by how easy it is after the first try.
No. When inserted correctly, you shouldn't feel it at all. The stem sits just inside the entrance, not poking or pressing anything. Unlike conventional cups, you don't need to trim the MUNA stem — it's ergonomically designed to sit flat and irritation-free.
Yes, yes, and yes. Up to 12 hours continuous wear — including sleep. The seal holds during exercise, swimming, and any activity. No adjusting, no checking.
Before your period: boil for 10 minutes. During your period: empty, rinse under tap water, reinsert. At the end of each cycle: boil again, dry, and store in the cotton pouch included.
Generally yes, but we recommend checking with your gynaecologist first — especially in the first few months after insertion when IUD strings may still be adjusting. Many people with IUDs use menstrual cups without issue.
